We are thrilled and proud to announce the launch of our extensive upholstery and fabric collection. Manor & Mews are delighted to announce the opening of their factory in Bagru, Jaipur, India, managed by its highly skilled and experienced British and Indian team. Incorporating a large and modern machine shop, assembly area, sanding, a separate finishing area, and a large upholstery section, with the capability of manufacturing all case goods, seating and upholstery.
Manor & Mews enjoys a 100-year connection to forestry in India. Using sustainable wood wherever possible, we make use of carefully managed acacia shade trees from our sister company’s tea estates. As structural wood in furniture, the life of these trees is extended, and they are not burned for firewood, saving CO2. A fact to make everyone feel more comfortable.
We enthusiastically support the hard work of the Elephant Family charity, led by the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, to save the endangered Asian elephant. Ninety percent of the Asian elephant’s habitat has been lost to modernisation. As some of us grew up riding elephants in India, we make every effort to reduce our environmental footprint in order to protect their future. We invite you to join us here.
