Piers Mansfield

Piers is a designer with over 25 years of experience in interiors and furniture. Working between London and Cape Town collaborating with Brands such as Banana Republic. His work has been shown in New York, Milan, London, Seoul, and Tokyo. His career highlight has been working for Banana Republic with legendary US retailer Jim Brett, the former President of West Elm. He has developed 150 unique designs for the brand sampling these pieces in India where he managed the furniture design portfolio, line planning and factory relationships.

Damian Stein

Damian has worked on the design and development end of the Retail Home Furnishings field for the past 23 years primarily focused on the Furniture, Lighting, Hardware and Upholstery categories. His strength in the ability to conceptually break down a situation into parts and understand those parts is important in the design process and leads to a successful end solution. During the design/development process, he enjoys the ideation aspect as well as collaborating with merchant teams, global sourcing teams, engineers and manufacturers. He has developed a strong skill set in analysing and refining proportions and details.

Tahir Sultan

Tahir Sultan is an all-encompassing, Lifestyle brand that continuously looks to bridge and re-interpret the design gap between the East and the West. It is contemporary, sophisticated, ethical and Sustainable.

The Designers unique Kuwaiti and Indian lineage gives him a deep understanding of different cultures and their rare heritage, which can be seen in his work. His exposure to fashion, arts, architecture and design has stirred his passion for pushing the boundaries of style, form and function. After a stint at the architectural association he graduated from Central Saint Martins. Where he interned with John Galliano and Alexander McQueen, before launching his own eponymous label in 2008. His talent was swiftly spotted, earning him accolades in the global press. He was the first Kuwaiti Designer to be invited to showcase at London Fashion Week in 2012. Thereafter he has shown at several other Fashion Weeks including FFWD in Dubai, as well as Jakarta Fashion Week.
